Project Coordinator, Innovation and Partnerships

Anna Wehr ‘21 joined the Innovation and Partnerships team in August 2022 as a Project Coordinator. Work includes organizing engagement opportunities for Virginia Tech’s corporate partners and alumni, supporting the team’s media and communications’ work including social media content creation and management, and supervising interns. Having come to Virginia Tech from the performing arts sector, Wehr enjoys infusing her creativity into her work.

Anna found her home in the Hokie Nation. “It’s exciting to be part of an institution that is constantly innovating and evaluating how it can better serve its students, alumni, community and corporate partners. People genuinely want to be here at Virginia Tech and that’s special.” Anna resides in Christiansburg with her dog Penny.

Wehr holds an M.F.A. in Arts Leadership from Virginia Tech and a B.A. in Theatre Performance from the University of Lynchburg.
