Project Coordinator, Innovation and Partnerships

Anna Wehr joined Innovation and Partnerships in August 2022 as a project coordinator. Her work includes organizing engagement opportunities for Virginia Tech’s corporate partners and alumni; supporting the team’s media and communications work, including social media content creation and management; and supervising interns. Having come to Virginia Tech from the performing arts sector, Wehr enjoys infusing her creativity into her work.

Anna found her home in the Hokie Nation. She says: “It’s exciting to be part of an institution that is constantly innovating and evaluating how it can better serve its students, alumni, community, and corporate partners. People genuinely want to be here at Virginia Tech and that’s special.”

Anna resides in Christiansburg, Virginia, with her dog Penny. She holds an M.F.A. in arts leadership from Virginia Tech and a B.A. in theater performance from the University of Lynchburg.
