Content Specialist, Creative Studio

As a content specialist with the creative studio that collaborates with LINK: Center for Advancing Partnerships and the university’s principal giving team, Emma Leonard strengthens relationships with industry partners and university donors through the strategizing and execution of creative projects. 

Emma brings a breadth of experience to the creative studio, which enables her to provide the highest level of support to the team and our external partners. From graphic design to writing and copyediting, Emma supports her fellow creative studio members through extensive creative collaboration. Prior to joining the team, Emma gathered a broad range of experience, including social media content creation, television news broadcasting, sports radio broadcasting, and marketing and operations within the professional ice hockey space.

Emma has a bachelor’s in multimedia journalism from Virginia Tech and an associate’s in arts and sciences from Virginia Western Community College.
