With two decades of experience in the commercialization of highly technical business opportunities, Grant Brewer serves as executive director of LICENSE: Center for Technology Commercialization. In this leadership role, he provides exceptional communication and practical abilities gained through professional success in academic start-up endeavors and mature industry operations.
Grant provides an irreplaceable perspective gained through learning on the job. These experiences range from bench-top research assessment to directing FDA-approved pharmaceutical manufacturing. He takes great pride in knowing that his team plays a critical role in the translation of research from laboratory to accessible technologies in society. Outside of the office, Grant enjoys woodworking and fly fishing.
Grant holds an MBA from The Citadel and a B.S. in biological engineering from the University of Georgia.
