With two decades of experience in the commercialization of highly technical business opportunities, Grant is Executive Director of LICENSE: Center for Technology Commercialization. In this leadership role, he provides exceptional communication and practical abilities gained through professional success in academic start-up endeavors and mature industry operations.
Grant provides the irreplaceable kind of experience gained through learning on the job. Those jobs ranged from bench-top research assessment to directing FDA-approved pharmaceutical manufacturing. He takes great pride in knowing that his team plays a critical role in the translation of research, from laboratory to accessible technologies in society. When not at work, Grant enjoys woodworking and fly fishing.
Grant earned an M.B.A from The Citadel and a B.S. in biological engineering from the University of Georgia.
