Tyler Lewis

Tyler Lewis is the assistant director for corporate engagement, where he leads strategic outreach and engagement efforts to build relationships with industry partners, alumni, and executive champions across the greater Northern Virginia region.
Tyler believes in the power and energy of being in the room — where ideas, people, and purpose intersect. He has over seven years of experience in event management, external affairs, and stakeholder engagement. Tyler prides himself on his ability to “get stuff done” and pay attention to the little details — attributes that mirror the passion and drive of Hokie Nation. His experience includes roles in nonprofit and policy-focused organizations, leading both small and large events and external partnerships with government, industry, and civil society.
Originally from the Tampa Bay area, Tyler now lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife, daughter, and dog, Murphy. He holds a B.A. in political science from the University of South Florida and is a proud Eagle Scout.
