CCI is a highly-connected network that engages higher education institutions, industry, and government, along with non-governmental and economic development organizations. It connects four regional nodes across Virginia. Virginia Tech leads the Southwest Virginia node.

QED-C is a consortium of stakeholders that aims to enable and grow the U.S. quantum industry. Established with support from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as part of the Federal strategy for advancing quantum information science.
